Hello blogreaders!
I'm not going to start with any "Ahlen wa sahlen"-stuff yet, since I'm still on non-Arab territory right now. Let's say that in little more than a week, I will gently take my 'first' steps on Cairo-ground. No doubt that I will have a lot of anecdotes to share with all of you, for which reason I created this cute little Blog. (Yes, everything is cute and little in Sara-world). Oh, and I also made this because I'm utterly bored for the moment, is it obvious? Well, let's hope boredom brings creativity! If I add any messages in the next couple of days, they will only be slightly Cairo-related (read: "what shall I put in my handlugage?" or "has somebody seen my passport?" )
On the whole, I hope this Blog will bring you a mixture of -more or less- serious facts, nice anecdotes and some of my well-known memmilicious humour...After all, this is dedicated to friends and familymembers that are staying behind...
To all my dutch friends and comrades, don't worry, plenty of "vlomse berichtjes" are coming your way!

I love your first entry and hope that this blog will be famous, just one detail change it name like this it will be linked to many fields.. i sugest sarraworld or tunmeetsbel (tunisia meets belgium) or whateva...bonne continuation
This is so cute and a great idea, one of your best the latest time :d.
I hope you'll enjoy your stay in Cairo - no doubt about that - and at the same time, I'm hoping that you will miss your Belgian friends (no doubt about that too I hope :p).
I'll be there for you when you are doubting of the coulour of dress you'll wear, of the kind of shoes you'll pick out, when you need someone to chat to, to share your doubts and experiences with, to giggle with (let'use skype, that's much easier).
Know that I will miss you (a block, yes, I know), that I hope that you'll have the time of your life: that you'll meet a lot of interesting peeople, that you'll learn everything you want to know about the Arabian language, ...
You have not left Belgium yet, but I'm already missing your laugh, your personality, and last but not least: you ...

I can't wait for you to fully start your blog and for me to read al je avontuurtjes. Right now I'm eating een superlekker stuk chocolade van Cote d'or and already I feel back at home. I hope you have a superfantastischgoeien tijd daar in La Cairo!
